Our Welfare

Welfare office recognizes the importance of supporting its members on different occasions which is not limited to times of needs only. The office is committed to promoting solidarity, enhancing mutual cooperation among members, providing support in times of bereavement, marriage, outdooring, critical illness and hospitalization, departure upon retirement or transfer and educational pursuits or any other support that may be out of this scope but is deemed necessary by the members

Welfare office embodies the following three guiding principles:

INCLUTION: The welfare office aims to create an inclusive environment where Kenyan individuals feel a strong sense of belonging and can freely express themselves.

  • Engagement: These engagements involve various interactions, activities, and collaborations aimed at enhancing togetherness and support for Kenyan nationals residing in Ghana.
  • Understanding and Empathy: Foster dialogue and mutual respect among Kenyans, and creating an environment where the unique challenges and needs of Kenyans are recognized, understood, and addressed with compassion

 

INFLUENCE: The welfare office serves as a powerful advocate for the Kenyan community in Ghana, striving to amplify their voices and address their unique needs.

  • Advocacy for Diversity and Positive Change: Welfare office actively champions diversity, equity, and positive transformation within the community. By advocating for diversity, we promote an environment where every Kenyan feels valued and respected.
  • Corporate Partnerships: Collaborating with corporations is essential to secure support and resources for Kenyans living in Ghana. By forging partnerships, Kenyans can access funding, mentorship programs, and employment opportunities. These collaborations would contribute significantly to the overall well-being of the Kenyan community.
